Sunworks
Farm is the home of Ron, Sheila, Shae and Erin Hamilton. In 1992 we moved
from the City to our new farm and immediately started converting our land
to certified organic status.
In 1995/96 we took a Holistic Management Course which helped us focus on the direction our farm and lives would take. Holistic Management is described as a goal oriented approach to managing land, livestock, people and finances in a manner which is environmentally friendly and economically and socially sound.
Our family strongly believes in the principals of organic and holistic agriculture, as well as the importance of ethical/humane handling of all creatures, including our farm animals. Since 1997 our animals have been Certified Organic.
A small amount of our products end up in stores and restaurants but we are committed to marketing as much possible directly to the consumer. In this way we can offer the highest quality meats and eggs at an affordable price.
