This is the interior of one of two hoophouses used to accelerate vegetable production. Shown in this picture are tomatoes, and there but not visible, are green peppers and basil. The green and white cones are Water Walls, water filled plastic cones that provide additional frost protection for the earliest transplants. The hoses between the rows are for trickle irrigation. The orange strings are for supporting the tomatoes as they grow taller. The hoophouse is 27 ft X 45 ft X 11 ft high. Our daughter is in the background.
