Meeting Place Organic FarmHuron County, Ontario
The mixed grains, oats and barley, have headed out showing a good mix with both oats and barley. There is a small amount of mustard weed - seen by its highly visible yellow flower, but since the stand of grain is thick there is little room for the mustard. It's not very competitive because there isn't a lot of extra nitrogen available in the soil to give it a boost so it out competes the grain as sometimes in conventional fertilized fields.
