This photo was taken as I finished up the flax harvest and concluded the grain harvest for 2003. There have been some spectacular prairie sunsets this fall. As well, one night I combined right through the night in order to attend my niece's wedding the next day and was entertained by a brilliant display of the northern lights. It was like some sort of star wars going on above me with large clusters of light shooting across the night sky. It went on for quite awhile helping to keep me entertained and awake.
