This calf was just born. All of our cows and bulls are American White Park breeding. We are hoping to eventually have the whole herd registered. This is a pretty good example of the colouring and style of cow we are looking for. We use a twice over grazing management strategy for our pasture ground. This means putting the cows through a series of paddocks starting June 1, and ending 45 days later at which time we would move them back to the first paddock for the same sequence, but slightly longer depending on weather. For early spring and fall pasture we use the fields that have been harvested as well as the fields that are being given a rest.
