This is a picture of our kitchen garden looking north with our house in the background. The garden contains mainly flowers, herbs, tomatoes, peppers, etc. We’ve set it up in a kind of half moon with key hole gardens within it. For those of you familiar with permaculture, it’s a version of a mendella garden. Our old house burnt down in September of 2001 and we built this the following winter. Our plan is to eventually have solar panels on this south roof.
