Day's Transitions

Summer sun rises
With its offer of day's sight
And the gift of an august heat.
All the earth sighs
As the morning's mists rise
with the green beings' whispers of praise

Summer sun standing
Relentless at noon
Streaming its life giving light.
While invisible dancers
birth towers in the sky
And the stones shiver up prayers for the night

Summer sun setting
As night breathing begins
And the sky shares its burden with the soil.
This evening's fog comforts with a soothing caress
and a psalm sung with earth's scents
and rose
