Ian Cushon

Ian Cushon has farmed organically for 20 years, marketing grains & oilseeds domestically and internationally. He has attended numerous organic conferences and visited organic farms and trade shows in several countries.

Ian writes a column called “All Things Organic” for the Western Producer, western Canada’s largest farm paper. Ian also speaks to groups as a consultant for the Agriculture Institute of Management in Saskatchewan (AIMS), on the subject of organic farming and marketing.

Ian is Past President of the Saskatchewan Organic Development Council. He is currently a member of the Producer Advisory Council for Environmental Farm Plans in Saskatchewan.

Ian and wife Jo-Anne operate 1995 acres (800 ha) at Oxbow, Saskatchewan. They have two small children.
